A Guide to My Writing
Lovely readers! I have decided to make an index of all of my short stories, serials, and poems. Think of this as a helpful guide to my writing. Read one, read all, but just know that these will always be here, and they will always be free. I will update this as I write!
Enjoy <3
Serials
The Interviews
Synopsis: A homeless woman takes a drug that cannot be traced, and the effects are frightening: paranoia, hallucinations, and a figure that follows her, appearing in impossible places. It’s taking parts of her, slowly but surely. When she escapes to a rehabilitation clinic, the only one who might be able to help her, is Doctor Rosalia Sanchez. But neither woman is safe, and the truth is much darker than either can possibly understand. This truth begins to come to life in a series of interviews through Rosalia herself, who must now face the same dark entity that once attached itself to her patient.
Parts:
The God of the Woods
Synopsis: A girl is found strung from the trees. A man gains sight into a world other than our own. A painter finds himself in the midst of a strange transformation. And a town’s prior enters a lonely struggle with the unholy forces of the forest. A story about a town that sees too much, a forest that threatens to swallow the townspeople, and a mysterious young man that wanders the forest, wearing the traits of a deer like a second skin. Is he a spirit or a demon or a god? What does he want with the town? And how can the town’s prior save his people when they keep vanishing or turning up dead?
Parts:
Foxe Manor (Ongoing)
Synopsis: Grace has lived a quiet, pious life with her father at Foxe Manor all her life… but, recently, dark, lustful dreams have begun to plague her. Dreams of a woman with three tails, and eyes like a fox. When her father goes missing, she begins to unravel a family secret that is a far betrayal from the piety she was raised with. Steeped in ritual and sin, she must unbind herself and her family from the fox spirit that has snared them, before she, too, becomes fallen.
Parts:
Where to Start
Siren Song — a dark, mythic flash fiction story, of a siren stalking her prey.
The Lost Boys — a dark reimagining of the story of Peter Pan, if he were a serial killer and the lost boys were the voices in his head.
Mycelium Eyes — a short dystopian story about a strand of mold that has spread to infect nature, overrun cities, and transform people in surreal, impossible ways.
The Drifted — a queer, folktale-inspired story about the Drifted… those who are taken and returned by the Fae, though never the same.
Below the Berry Tree — a bittersweet, mythic piece about a ghost who must navigate a strange underworld, as well as her twisted, forgotten memories of love and loss, in order to move on into the afterlife.
